Neighbourhood Plan submitted to Basingstoke & Deane

Whitchurch Town Council has submitted to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council the Whitchurch Neighbourhood Development Plan, under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (As Amended).  The Borough Council (the Local Planning Authority or LPA) will carry out a legal compliance check, following which it will arrange the Regulation 16 public consultation. See the latest proposed changes to the Whitchurch Neighbourhood Plan

Another chance to see the latest proposed changes to the Whitchurch Neighbourhood Plan!   We’ll be at the Gill Nethercott Centre this Saturday, 23rd July, from 1 pm – 4 pm.   It’s a chance to ask questions of the Neighbourhood Plan team, and shape the final version of the Plan.   Hope to see you there!

Since the Pre-submission Whitchurch Neighbourhood Plan (WNP) in December 2015 there have been a number of significant developments. The most important of these are: On May 26th 2016 BDBC “adopted” the Local Plan which changes the number of houses to be allocated by the Town Council and removes the BDBC allocation of Employment Land.
