New Town Clerk On the 9th January Cllrs Jackman, Wall, Isbester and myself interviewed Karen Bleazard for the position of Town Clerk.  After an informative session, we were unanimous in in our decision that we felt Karen would be an excellent Town Clerk and that we should offer her the job.  The following day I called Karen with the news and she was delighted to accept the role.  We are aiming for Cathy to have a handover period with Karen, […]

Community Emergency Plan I was asked by Hampshire County Council’s Emergency Planning Team to give a short presentation about our Community Emergency Plan on the 24th November in Winchester.  The event was called “Working Together” and the aim was to encourage more parish and town councils to produce their own Community Emergency Plans, particularly in light of the severe wet weather conditions we experienced last winter.  My role was to explain how we went about producing our plan and building […]

Sowings for New Spring The Judges completed their marking of the submissions that we had received for this very innovative project.
