Snowdrops Rescued – and volunteers appreciated for Saturday 1st April

The Friends of QEII Daniel Park recently rescued dozens of snowdrop bulbs from the verge on Winchester Road where builders are due to knock down a house and create an access road to the new housing development.  These bulbs were originally planted to commemorate the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
